AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO LEASE
THE VACANT LOTS AT 17th & MAIN STREETS 3RO11 R. A. COOK, WILL
TERRY AND DR. J. P. RUITYAN; OWITTERS OF SAID LOTS , TO BE USED
BY TIC CITY !, r,T COIVU'LISSION FOR THE OPERATION OF THE L,UNICIPAL
CURB 11ARZET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF T11L41 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Board of Public Affairs be and the
same is hereby authorized and directed to procure a lease from
R. A. Cook, Will Terry and Dr,, J. P. Runyan to the vacant lots
at 17th & Main Streets, City of Little Rock, and said lease
shall be in accordance with the terms of a letter filed with
the City Clerk, setting forth the conditions upon which said
property will be let, and said property shall be used by the
City Market Commission for the purpose of operating the Municipajt
Curb Market.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage.
