AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK INTO A STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
TO BE KNOT N AS STREET I11PROV` -MLNT DISTRICT
NO.!!4'q, AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES THER "'OF.
WHEREAS, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little Kock, Pulaski County, hrkansas, herein-
after described, have petitioned the City Council to take
steps toward making local improvements therein by forming
the territory hereinafter described into an improvement
district for the purposes hereinafter set out.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE RO C�.:
SECTION 1. That said Street Improvement District
No. <,/(1 Xf the City of Little hock be, and the same is hereby
created and established for the purpose of making local
improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering
and paving the following streets:
West Sixteenth Stre--t from the west line of State
Street to the east line of Pulaski Street, and Pulaski Street
from the south line of West Fourteenth Street to the
north line of West Fifteenth Street;
and draining and repaving the following streets:
West Sixteenth Street from the east line of Pulaski
Street to the east line of Marshall Street, and Pulaski
Street from the north line of : +est Fifteenth Street to the
north line of West Sixteenth Street;
in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners
of said district shall d6termine to be for the best interest
of the district; all to be done in the City of Little Hock,
Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of the General assembly of-
the State of Arkansas entitled, "An Act to Regulate Local Improve-
ments in Cities of the First Class," approved March 22, 1881,
and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district
shall include the following property, lying within the City of
Little Mock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit:

7 to 12, inclusive, of Block 26; Lots 1 to 6, in-
elusive, of ock 27; all of Blocks 28 and 29; all
in Centennial Addition'to Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of 3loeks 235, 241, 271 :and 281;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 10, 11 and 12 of Blocks 236, 2.40, 272,
280, 315 and 320; Lots 1 to 6, inclusive of Block 313;
Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, of Block 314; Dots 7 to 12,
inclusive, of Block 322; Lots 4 to 12, inclusive, of
Block 321; all in the Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the
City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of
its passage to publish the same in some newspaper published in
the City of _uittle Rock for one insertion.
