An Ordinance assessing the value of the Benefits to be `"
= Received by the Owners of Each of the Several Lots,
Blocks and other Subdivisions of Land within Street
Improvement District No. 419, of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property
holders owning property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated in Street Improverent District
No. 419, of the City of Little Dock, organized for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by grad-
ing, draining, curbing, guttering and paving in such
manner end with such materials as the commissioners for
said district shall determine to be for the best inter-
est of the district, the streets set out in their peti-
tion, have petitioned the Council of the City of Little
Rock for the construction of said improvement and that
the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real prop-
erty of said district according to the benefits received;
and
Whereas, said benefits received by each and
every block, lot and parcel of real property situated in
said district equals or exceeds the local assessment
thereon; and
Whereas, the estimated cost of said improvement
is $142,117.80;
THEREFORE, it is now ordained by the city council

of the City of Little Rockf,Jhat said several blocks, lots
and parcels of real property in said district be assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement dis-
trict as the same now remains in the office of the city clerk,
�. and that seven(7) per centum on each of said blocks, lots

and parcels shall be paid on or before the first day of June,
1926; tJ.at eight and one -half per centum on each of said lots,
blocks and parcels shall be paid on or before the first day

of June in each of the years 1927, 1928 and 1929; that
eight(8) per centum on each of said lots, blocks and
parcels shall be paid on or before the first day of June
in each of the yeaxs 1930 to 1936, inclusive; and that
seven(7) per centum on each of said lots, blocks and
parcels shall be paid on or before the first day of June,
1937, until -the whole of said local assessment shall be paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereb•,,. repealed, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
