ORDINANCE NO. 3 995
AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS INTO A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT,,AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDS
THEREOF, SAID DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.
1p"l OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKY ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, ten or more owners of real property within the
bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take steps towards the making of local
improvements therein by installing a system of sanitary sewers, in-
cluding all necessary manholes, flush tanks, septic tanks, pipe lines
and outlets and such disposal arrangements as may be necessary, and all
other work that may be necessary for the successful construction there-
of, including the extension of said system beyond the boundaries of the
district for outlets and connections at such points and in such manner
as may be found necessary, all of the same to be located in the places
and to be of such materials and dimensions as the commissioners.to be
appointed may deem for the best interst of the district.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it Ordained by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That Sewer Improvement District No.
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be, and the same hereby is
created, laid out and established for the purpose of installing a
system of sanitary sewers, including all necessary manholes, fliAsh
tanks, septic tanks, pipe lines and outlets and such disposal arrange-
ments as may be necessary, and all other work that may be necessary
for the successful eonstruction'thereof, including the extension of
said system beyond the boundaries of the district for outlets and con-
nections at such points and in such manner as may be found necessary,
all of the same to be located in the places and to be of such materials
and dimensions as the commissioners to be appointed may deem for the
best interest of the distrietp in accordance with an act of the General
Assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled, "An Aclt to Regulate the
Manner of Assessing Real Property for Local Improvements in the Cities
of the First and Second Class," approved March 22, 1881, and amend-

SECTION 2• That the district created, laid out and es-
tablished shall include that portion of the City of Little Rock
embraced within the boundaries described as follows:
A part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 310 and
a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Town-
ship 2 North, Range 12 'Jest, described as follows:
Beginning 739 feet South of the section corner of
Sections 29, 300 31 and 329 ruhning thence North 87
degrees East,_ 100 feet; thence North 72I degrees

feet; thence North 60 degrees East, 200 feet; thence
North 61 degrees East, 300 feet; thence North 52

a tract of land on Pulaski Heights and containing
51.02 acres.
And which includes Lots Numbers One (1) to Seven (7)
inclusive, Nine (9), Eleven (11), Fourteen (14) it

three(63) Fifty -fives (gt) - Fifty -fiavm (57) , Fifty-
nine (595, Sixty -one (61) and Sixty -three (63)
Edgehill Addition to the City of Little Rock, as
platted by Bill of Assurance and plat filed with the
Circuit Clerk and Recorder of Pulaski County, on
the j L_ day of 1926.
All situated in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage
and publication, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty
days from the passage of this ordinance to publish the same in some
newspaper of general circulation in the C o� Little Rock,
Arkansas, for one insertion. /
