AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING TEE VALUE
OF THE BENEFITS TO BE REC`EIV'ED: BY
THE OWNERS CTF Fj.= OF THE SEVERAL
ICTS, BLOCHB AND PARCELS OF LAND
WITHIN AIMM N0. 1 70 STREET IMPROVZ=
MENT DISTRICT` NO. 426 OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARUNSAS.
AREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated-
within Annex No. 1 to Street Improvement District No. 426 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;, said property being described
as follows: hots 1 to 61 inclusive, Block 4; Lots 8 to 13,
inclusive, Block 4; Lots 14 to 19, inclusive, Block 3; Lots
21 to 26, inclusive, Block 3; all in Chickasaw Place addition,
in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, annexed
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and
paving Allis Street from the North property line of 2Cth Street
to the south property line of 18th Street, in such manner and
with such materials as the commissioners of said Street Improve-
ment District No. 426 shall determine to be for the best interests
of the territory annexed, have petitioned the city council of
Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the
cost thereof shall be assessed and charged upon the real property
within said annexed territory according to the benefits received,
and
WHEREAS, said benefit-, received by each and every
block, lkt, and parcel of real property situated within: acid anroxed
territory equals ar exceeds the local assessment thereon:; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$6,293.10.
NOT, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots, and
parcels of real property within said Annex No. 1 to Street Improve-
ment District No. 426, be, and the same are hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for said Annex No. 1, as the same

now remains in the office of the city clerk, and as the same:
may be annually readjusted by the board of assessors, and that
seven per centum of said assessment of the value of the benefits
df each of said blocks, iota, and parcels of land shall be paid
annually on or before the first day of June of each of the years
1926 to 1935, inclusive, and that six per centum of said
assessment of the value of the benefits of each of said blocks,
lots, and parcels of land shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of June of each of the years 1936 to 1940, inclusive.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts: of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance: shall be
in full force and effect from axed after its passage.
