An ordinance laying off a portion of the City of Little
hock into a street improvement district to be known as Street Im-
prove,ment District No. , and designating the boundaries there-
of.
jwHEREAS, more than ten owners of real property within that
A. portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, hereinafter des -
cribed, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward making
of local improvements therein by forming the territory hereinafter
described into an improvement district for the purpose hereinafter
set out:
THERE FORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little hock:
Section 1. That said Street Improvement district No. i-S
of the City of Little Rock be, and the same is hereby created and es-
tablished for the purpose of paving with concrete, or with such oth
er materials ind in such manner as the commissioners to be selected
may deem for the best interests of the district, the following
streets: Kenyon Street, from the West line of hose Street to the
East line of Elm Street, Rose Street f,om Kenyon Street to North
Lookout Avenue, and Fairview hoad. from South Lookout Avenue to Ken-
yon Street; in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with
an act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkarsans entitled,
"An Act to hegulate Local Improvements in Cities bf the First Class,"
approved March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries
of said district shall include the following; property:
Lots One (1), Two (2), and Three (3), and Lots Ten (10),

Eleven (11), Twelve (12), and Thirteen (13), Block Twelve (12);
Lots Four (4) to Seventeen (17), inclusive, Block Fourteen (14);
Lots Four (4) to Eight (8), inclusive, and Lots rifteen (lb) to Twen-
ty -five (25), inclusive, Block Sixteen (16); All of Block Eighteen
(18); Lots One (1) to Four. (4), inclusive, and Lots Ten (10) to Thir-
teen (13), inclusive, Block Nineteen (19); Lots One (1) to Eleven
(11), inclusive, Block Seventeen (17); Lots One (1) to Seven (7),
inclusive, and Lots Eleven (11) to Fourteen (14), inclusbve, Block
Fifteen (lb); all in Hillerest Addition to the City of Little hock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, and; Lot 19, Block 2, Doyle Place (An-
nex) to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Section 2. That all ordinances. and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk
is hereby ordered within twenty days from the date of its passage to
publish the same in some newspaper published in the City of Little
to ft for one insertion. _
