3898'1 ORDINANCE NO. 3999. ' AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET D1PROVMMT DISTRICT NO. 426, OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEW, more than seventy -five (75 %) percent in value of the property holders owning property, adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 426 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving, in such manner and with such materials as the Board of Commissioners shall determine to be for the best interests of the District, the following Street: West 20th Street from the West property line of. Woodrow Street to the East property line of $.reim. Street, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Ark - ansas, for the construction of said improvement and that the Bost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of reel property situated in said district equals or exoseds the local assessment thereon; and WHERAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $11,495.559 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORA"M BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ; CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: That�the several blocks, lots and parcels of real property in said district be assessed according to the assess- went list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and as the dame may be annually re- adjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that eight (B %) peraentum L ftb 4r-I on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid on or before the 15th day of January, 1926, and that seven (7 %) percentum on each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of January of each of the gears 1927 and 1928, and that six and one -half (6 *%) peroentum ©n 's`aah of the said lots and pars: to shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of January for each of the years 1929 to 1940 inclusive. SECTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas- sage.
