3895i ' ORDINANCE N0. 3995- ' AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEV- ERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, OR OTHER PARCELS OF REAL PRO- PERTY 'vITHIN STREET IIIEPROVE1 ?ENT DISTRICT NO. 370 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real pro- perty owning real property adjoining the locality to be af- fected, and situated within Street Improvement District No. 370, of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and paving in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners of said District shall determine to be for the best interests of the District, the streets set out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, for the construction of said improvements, and that the cost thereof shall be as- sessed upon the real property within said District according to the benefits received; and, I- )MTREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block, or other parcel of real property situated within said District, equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and, IvMFMAS, the estimated cost of said improvements is $469726.24; THEREFORE, Be It Now Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks, or other parcelsof.real property within said Street Improvement District No. 370 be, and they are, hereby assessed according to the assessment list for said Improvement District as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors; ,and that six per cent ( 6 %) of said as- L eloo�� . ppp- sessments of the value of the benefits of each of said lots, t blocks, or other parcels of real property in said District, shall be paid annually on or before the fifteenth day of December of each year, beginning December 15, 1925, until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance $hell in full force and effect from and after its passage.
