AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING TIE ARKANSAW INATER C01 ANY TO INSTAII,
A FIRE h`YDRANT AT AI,THEIMER AND ETAS SAC .�'USETTS STREETS AND
ALTHEINER kl'T FLORIDA STREETS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. The Arkansaw Water Company has a standpipe north
of Lenon Street at the intersection of Pierce Street and will
make an additional connection from it to its present Pulaski Heights
„eY4„ystem,, and as the property in this vicinity has never had ade-
quate fire protection the Arkansaw Water Company is hereby ordered.
and directed to install fire hydrants on this new line at the fol-
lowing locations:
Northwest corner of Massachusetts and Altheimer Sta.
'.,Northwest forner of Florida and Altheimer Streets.
Section 2. These hydrants are ordered in accordance with
Section 8 of Ordinance No. 3290, passed August 13, 1923, and as
amended by Ordinance No. 3443, passed March 24, 1924.
Section 3. That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they
gpflict with this ordinance.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
