3834ORDINANCE NO. 38 AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER 415 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District Number 415, in the City of Little Rock, organized for the purpose of making local improve- ments therein by draining, grading, curbing, guttering and paving Schiller Avenue from the South property line of West Twenty- second Street to the North property line of West Twenty -fifth Street, have petitioned the City Council of the (pity of Little Rook for the construction of said improvements and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in said district according to the benefits received; and, WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and parcel of real property, railroad and railroad right of way situated in said district equals or exceeds the local assess- ment thereon; and, l.NFHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvements is 15, 285.38 exclusive of interest xmXxxtt2ieax��np�r THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TITTLE ROCK: SECTION 1. That the said several blocks, lots and parcels of real property, railroads, and railroad rights of way in said Street,Improvement District Number 415, be and they are hereby 4 assessed according to the assessment list as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that ten per centum of said assessment of the said value of benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land, rail- toads and railroad rights of way shall be paid on or before the 1st day of MwmamAmw in each of the years 1925 to 1934, inclusive, until the whole of said assessment shall have been paid. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts o /ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
