ORDINANCE #_1829.
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A
CERTAIN STRIP OF PROPERTY DESCRIBED B -10W
TO BE USED AS A STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
W3,-'the W._B.-Worthen Co. had dedicated to the public,
for street purposes, a strip of land estimated to be 20 feet wide off of
the west side of a tract of land known as "The Zuber Tract "; which fronts
75 feet on Asher Ave. and is bounded on the East and North by�lot 7, Block
3, Evertts Addition to the City of Little Rock; the Commercial Trust Co. has
dedicated to the public for street purposes the ?lest 10 feet-of Lots 8 and 9,
Block 3, Everts Addition; Pearlie L. Mann has dedicated to the public, for
atteet purposes a strip of land 20 feet wide off of the East side of "The
Three Acre Tract" Down as the "Walter Mann Tract ", which tract lies North of
Asher Ave. and west of portions of Everette Addition; and Clarance Barbee has
dedicated to the public for street purposes a three cornered pa;Arcel of land
off of the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block 3, Everette Addition, said plot
being 20 feet long,East and West,and extends from the " Zuber Tract" north,to
the alley in said Block 3, Everette Addition, and;
WHEREAS, the above described dedicatdons complete the formation of
a street from Asher Ave. North, 40 feet wide,to the Garland School grounds,
and it is to the best interest of the city that said dedications be accepted,
Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLT' ROCK:
SECTION 1. That the dedications of the above described pracels of
land, made by the above described owners,in a quitclaim deed, dated March 27,
1925, be and the same are hereby accepted, and the said pffcels of ground 11,
from and after this date be a public street and highway.
