A RESOLUTION AWARDING THREE (3)
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS TO CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE TO INSTALL
TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT EIGHT (8) LOCATIONS FOR THE
2004 BOND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The 2004 Bond Capital Improvement Program includes funds for traffic
signal installation at various locations throughout the City, and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for three construction contracts and
Construction Management and Maintenance was the low bidder for all three projects (bid
numbers 04 -288, 04 -289, and 04 -290).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award contracts for $822,800.00
($748,000.00 plus 10% contingencies) to Construction Management and Maintenance for
the following signal locations:
Bid Number 04 -288
I -430 Northbound Ramp at Col Glenn Road
1 -430 Southbound Ramp at Col Glenn Road
I -430 Northbound Ramp at Shackleford Road
Col Glenn Road at Shackleford Road
Total Bid: $392,000

Barrow Road and I -630 (south side)
Stagecoach at Otter Creek Boulevard
Baseline Road at Stanton Road
Total Bid: $252,000
Bid Number 04 -290
Shackleford Road at the I -430 Southbound Ramp and Hermitage Road

SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from 2004 Bond Issue.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
