A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE NAME OF BURNETT ROAD TO
SWEETWATER COVE (G -25 -203); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the residents and owners of all properties abutting Burnett Road have signed a petition
requesting that the name of the street be changed to Sweetwater Cove; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its September 17, 2009 meeting, voted to
recommend approval of the street name change by a vote of 10 ayes, 0 noes and
1 absent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The name of Burnett Road is hereby changed to Sweetwater Cove.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said change.
