3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE
4 ONE (1) 4X4 EXTEND CAB TRUCK WITH UTILITY BODY FROM MIDWAY
5 FORD FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, it has been determined that a 4x4 Extend Cab Truck with Utility Body would allow the
8 Crime Scene Investigation Division of the Little Rock Police Department to better perform their tasks,
9 and
10 WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) 4x4 Extend Cab Truck with Utility Body
11 and the most responsible and responsive bid was received from Midway Ford, in the amount of Fifty
12 Thousand, Two Hundred Ninety -eight Dollars ($50,298.00);
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
14 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Midway Ford for the
16 purchase of one (1) 4x4 Extend Cab Truck with Utility Body, for the amount of Fifty Thousand, Two
17 Hundred Ninety -eight Dollars ($50,298.00).
18 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Police Department Grant Funds.
19 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
20 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
21 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
