4 CONSTRUCTION OF THE 9TH STREET EXTENSION PROJECT' , AND FOR
5 OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, it is desirable to have u four' |uno udodul street linking the 1-30 corridor to the area
8 oodb of the Little Rock National Airport to provide for the {zunxponLutioo and economic development
9 needs of the area and the extension of9th Street from Bond Street 10 the east and northeast to connect with

|| WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire right-of-way and |uud for the project;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section l. The City Manager iohereby authorized to acquire rights-of-way and land for construction
lj of the project and 10 authorize relocation oaaiaiunor payments for c|igih|c residents under the lJni[bnn
16 Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act.
17 Section 2, Funding for acquisition and relocation uaaia1uncc is available for the project from various
18 grant sources and opcuiu| project funding eaiizna1ed at $760,000.00.
