12947I RESOLUTION NO. 12,947 2 3 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO CORRECT A 4 SCRIVENER'S ERROR CONTAINED IN LITTLE ROCK ORDINANCE NO. 5 20,066 (DECEMBER 22,2008); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 6 7 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Board of Directors passed Ordinance No. 20,066 at a meeting held on 8 December 22, 2008, authorizing the issuance of industrial development revenue bonds for the LM Glasfiber, Inc. 9 project, and 10 WHEREAS, it has been determined that the fourth "Whereas" clause in the ordinance contains an erroneous 11 reference to the City of Searcy, Arkansas and the BJ Services Company Project, and 12 WHEREAS, when the content of Ordinance No. 20,066 is read in its entirety, the reference to the City of 13 Searcy and the BJ Services Company Project is clearly the result of a scrivener's error, and 14 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the scrivener's error should be corrected to accurately reflect the 15 language intended to be contained in Ordinance No. 20,066. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF 17 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby directs the City Clerk to correct the scrivener's error contained in the 19 fourth "Whereas" clause of Ordinance No. 20,066, by inserting the following language in place of the reference to 20 the City of Searcy and BJ Services Company Project: "City of Little Rock, Arkansas Taxable Industrial 21 Development Revenue Bonds (LM Glasfiber Project) Series 2009." 22 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this 23 resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect 24 the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or 25 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. 26 Section 3. Repealer.
