A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON FEBRUARY
17, 2009, TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
SEWER REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING BETTERMENTS
AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY'S SEWER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "City ") owns a Sewer System (the
"System "), which is operated by the Sanitary Sewer Committee of the City (the "Committee "); and
WHEREAS, the Committee has determined that the acquisition, construction and equipping
of betterments and improvements to the System are necessary in order for the Little Rock
Wastewater Utility to provide quality sanitary sewer service to the City and its inhabitants;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That February 17, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. shall be the date and time for a public
hearing to consider an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of up to $9,000,000 in principal amount
of Sewer Revenue Bonds, Series 2009A for the purpose of financing betterments and improvements
to the System.
