3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH JOHN MILNER ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL
5 SURVEY OF THE PROPOSED DUNBAR HISTORIC DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an RFQ was issued for a consultant to conduct an architectural survey of the proposed
9 Dunbar Historic District and seven firms responded; and
10 WHEREAS, a review committee selected John Milner Associates, Inc. as the most qualified to
11 conduct the survey;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
13 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to negotiate a contract with
15 John Milner Associates, Inc. to conduct an architectural survey of the proposed Dunbar Historic District.
16 Section 2. Funding in the amount of $25,000.00 was approved in the 2006 and 2007 Consolidated
17 Plans for this project.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
19 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
20 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
21 in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
22 originally a part of the resolution.
23 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
24 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
