12791I RESOLUTION NO. 12,791 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN 4 ANNUAL CONTRACT WITH MID -SOUTH SALES, INCORPORATED TO PROVIDE 5 OILS AND LUBRICANTS FOR USE IN ALL CITY EQUIPMENT; AND FOR OTHER 6 PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids, under Bid #C08031, for an APO to provide oils and 9 lubricants for use in all City equipment, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received 10 from Mid -South Sales, Incorporated, and 11 WHEREAS, the annual contract will not exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) per 12 year with an option to renew each year, up to four (4) years, upon agreement of both parties; 13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE 14 ROCK, ARKANSAS: 15 Section1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual 16 contract with Mid -South Sales, Incorporated to provide oils and lubricants for use in all City equipment, 17 in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) per year. 18 Section 2. The contract will be renewable annually for four (4) years upon agreement of both 19 parties. 20 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Fleet Services Budget Accounting unit 21 #600020. 22 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, 23 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such 24 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
