127751 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 RESOLUTION NO. 12,775 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED (1,500) 90- GALLON SOLID WASTE CONTAINERS AND ISSUE A ONE -YEAR ANNUAL PURCHASE ORDER FOR ADDITIONAL CARTS, IF NEEDED; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Solid Waste Division must periodically purchase new solid waste containers for delivery to new customers, replace stolen carts, replace damaged carts, and meet the demand for additional carts, and WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the containers, and the lowest responsible and responsive bid meeting minimum specifications was received from Otto Industries., in the amount of Seventy -five Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($75,750.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract for the purchase of one thousand five hundred (1,500) 90- gallon Solid Waste Containers from Otto Industries, Inc., for the amount of Seventy -five Thousand, Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($75,750.00), and to issue a 1 -year annual purchase order for additional carts as needed. Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from Account #603110- 60170. Section 3. Severabitity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repeater. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
