A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO VARIOUS CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named person(s) are herby appointed as members of the
following Boards and Commissions:
AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT CITIZEN'S GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE:
Joseph A. Banken, appointed to serve as a service provider, replacing John M. Wyrick, said
unexpired term expiring on July 6, 2011.
Jacqueline Long, appointed to serve as a disabled representative, replacing Allene Higgins,
said unexpired term expiring on July 6, 2011.
ARKANSAS MUSEUM OF DISCOVERY:
Eric McDuffie, appointed to serve an unexpired term ending on December 31, 2008.
Laura Shue, appointed to serve an unexpired term ending on December 31, 2009.
LITTLE ROCK CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION:
Benjamin D. Jackson, appointed to serve the unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of
Jessica Watts, said term expiring October 19, 2009.
Lee Anne Overall, appointed to serve a full three -year term as an At -Large representative,
filling the position left vacant when Lynn Mittelstaedt Warren was appointed to serve in the architect
position of John Beneke on February 26, 2008, said term expiring October 19, 2011.
COMMISSION ON CHILDREN YOUTH AND FAMILIES:
Pursuant to Ordinance 19,902 (01- 08 -08) the Commission on Children Youth and Families was
restructured.
Lynn M. Lincoln, appointed to serve a full three -year At -Large term, said term expiring on
May 31, 2012.
Angela McFadden, appointed to serve a full three -year At -Large term, said term expiring on
May 31, 2012.
Patricia A. Wilkerson, appointed to serve a full three -year At -Large term, said term expiring
on May 31, 2012.
COMMUNITY HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD:
Derek L. Harris, appointed to serve an unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of Bill
McElwee, said term expiring on June 02, 2010.
LITTLE ROCK HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION:
Randy Ripley, appointed to serve a full three -year term, replacing Wesley R. Walls, said
term expiring on June 15, 2011.
MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION:
Wali Caradine, appointed to serve an unexpired three -year term left vacant by the
resignation of Willie M. Hemphill, said term expiring on February 21, 2010.
LITTLE ROCK SANITARY SEWER COMMITTEE:
Ken Griffey, appointed to serve a full four -year term, replacing Charles Goss, said term
expiring on August 1, 2012.
LITTLE ROCK ZOO BOARD OF GOVERNORS
Henry Brooks, IV, appointed to serve an unexpired term left vacant by the attendance
termination of Lee Charles Johnson, said term expiring on February 16, 2010.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
