A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE ARKANSAS ARTS
CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE LITTLE ROCK ARTS AND
CULTURE COMMISSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named person(s) are herby appointed, reappointed, or reinstated as members
of the following Boards and Commissions:
ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER
Elgin R. Clemmons, Jr., appointed to a full three -year term (first); said term expiring on June 30,
2012.
Janie Boyce, appointed to serve an unexpired term, replacing Frank Sherrill, said term expiring
on June 30, 2011.
LITTLE ROCK ARTS AND CULTURE COMMISSION
Nan Plummer, appointed to serve the unexpired term left vacant by the resignation of Belinda
Shults, said term expiring on April 2, 2009.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.

SUBJECT: NOMINATION TO FILL VACANCY
DATE: JULY 24, 2008
In accordance with Little Rock Ordinance 18,601, the Arts & Culture Commission
convened a nominating committee to fill vacancies to the Commission. The
Commission makes the following recommendation to the Little Rock City Board
of Directors for appointment:
Nan Plummer, to fill a Cultural Institution position for a term, which expires in
April 2009. Ms. Plummer will fill the unexpired term of Belinda Shults, who has
resigned.
