12746RESOLUTION NO. 12,746 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS REGIONAL WATER COMMISSION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The following named person is herby appointed as members of the following Board or Commission: CENTRAL ARKANSAS REGIONAL WATER COMMISSION Adrienne Bradley, appointed to a full seven -year term (first); replacing Jane Dickey, said term expiring on June 30, 2015. Jane Dickey. Ms. Bradley is an economist for the Arkansas Public Service Commission. The Board of Commissioners, herewith, is submitting the attached resolution requesting that the Little Rock Board of Directors confirm Ms. Bradley for a seven -year term. If confirmed, she would serve through June 30, 2015, as a Little Rock representative on the Board. Ms. Bradley has a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University along with an MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles. Ms. Bradley has served on various public commissions and boards throughout the nation, as well as in Arkansas. For your reference, we have attached a copy of her professional resume. The appointment of Ms. Bradley requires confirmation by the Little Rock Board of Directors and North Little Rock City Council. ADRIENNE BRADLEY TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, the term of Ms. M. Jane Dickey, a member of the Board of Commissioners, Central Arkansas Water ( "CAW Board "), expired on June 30, 2008; and WHEREAS, by law it is the duty of the remaining commissioners to nominate and appoint a commissioner when a vacancy occurs on the CAW Board, subject to confirmation by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the City Council of the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
