12744I RESOLUTION NO. 12,744 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE SOURCES AND USES OF PROJECTED 2009 4 CDBG, HOME AND ADDI FUNDS FOR INCLUSION IN THE CITY'S ANNUAL PLAN; 5 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 6 7 WHEREAS, as a part of the annual plan which must be submitted to the U.S. Department of 8 Housing 8t Urban Development ( "HUD ") by November 15, 2008, the City must suggest the source of uses 9 of certain funds to be received from HUD, and 10 WHEREAS, consistent with the City's Citizen Participation plan, the Consolidated Planning 11 Committee has recommended the sources and uses of 2009 HUD entitlement funds which are 12 anticipated to total Three Million, Two Hundred Ninety -two Thousand, One Hundred Thirteen Dollars 13 ($3,292,113.00), and 14 WHEREAS, two (2) public hearings have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen 15 input possible; 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 17 ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The Board recommends submission of the following projected uses of an anticipated One Million, Two Hundred Twenty -Two Thousand, Six Hundred Forty -three Dollars ($1,222,643) in 2007 Home Investment Partnership Funds: (A) Substantial /Moderate Rehabilitation $400,000 (B) New Construction 245,851 (C) Save -A -Home 300,000 (D) CHDO Set -Aside 138,396 (E) CHDO Operating 46,132 (F) Administration 92,264 Section 3. The Board recommends submission of the projected use of an anticipated Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000) in American Dream Downpayment Initiative Program Funds: (A) Grants to First Time Homebuyers $ 9,000 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
