RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF THAT PORTION OF OLD
SHACKLEFORD ROAD LOCATED NORTH OF WEST 36TH STREET TO
SHACKLEFORD PASS.
WHEREAS, the owners of the majority of properties abutting that portion of Old
Shackleford Road located north of West 36th Street have signed a petition requesting that
the name of that portion of the street be changed to Shackleford Pass; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its July 10, 2008 meeting
voted to recommend approval of the street name change by a vote of 8 ayes, 0 noes and
3 absent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The name of that portion of Old Shackleford Road located north of
West 36th Street is hereby changed to Shackleford Pass.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and the City Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said
change.
