3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN
4 AGREEMENT WITH CRAFTON, HULL, SPARKS, INC. FOR 12th STREET DESIGN

FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has need of consultant services to research and draft a 12th Street Corridor
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Crafton, Hull, Sparks, Inc. submitted a response to a Request for
Qualifications (Bid # 8208) which a review committee deemed the most qualified; and
WHEREAS, a city team and Crafton, Hutt, Sparks, Inc. have successfully negotiated a scope of the
work and a price term not to exceed $85,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for professional
services with Crafton, Hull, Sparks, Inc., in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, for a term of
one (1) year. Funds to pay for these services will come from the City, IJAMS and CALS. The contract
language has been negotiated and includes a price not to exceed $85,000.
Section 2. Severability. in the event any portion of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of
the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution.
