3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT NEW COMMISSIONERS TO THE BOARD OF
4 IMPROVEMENT FOR TALL TIMBER WEST RECREATION IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
5 NO. 3 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND PRESCRIBING OTHER
6 MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
7 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas established the Tall Timber
8 West Recreation Improvement District No. 3 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (the "District ") by
9 adopting Ordinance No. 15,091, enacted on May 6, 1986 (the "Formation Ordinance "); and

WHEREAS, the original members of the Board of Improvement created by the City to pursuant to
the Formation Ordinance have all either resigned or otherwise indicated their unwillingness to further
serve in such capacity; and
WHEREAS, the District has requested the City to appoint a new Board of Improvement for the
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Diane Broadway, Pamela Johnson and Sherri Scruggs, duly qualified electors of the
City and property owners within the District, are hereby appointed Commissioners of the District and
shall constitute the Board of Improvement of the District.
Section 2. That such commissioners shall qualify by taking the oath of office prescribed by
Arkansas law, and shall enter upon and conduct their duties all as prescribed by applicable law.
Section 3. Severability. in the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
