3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT FOR $80,876.35 WITH GAMETIME BY SOUTHWEST PARKS AND
5 PLAYGROUNDS FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF POURED -IN -PLACE
6 SURFACING FOR THE RIVERFRONT ADVENTURE PARK ; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, Little Rock Parks and Recreation is in the process of constructing an adventure park
10 within Riverfront Park, and
11 WHEREAS, certain surfacing is needed for the adventure park, and
12 WHEREAS, bids, channeled through U.S. Communities, a community purchasing agency for
13 cities across the country, were taken and Gametime by Southwest Parks and Playgrounds was
14 competitively selected to supply and install the poured -in -place surfacing needed for the park.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
16 ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract, in a form
18 approved by the City Attorney, with Gametime by Southwest Parks and Playgrounds for the supply and
19 installation of GTImpax poured -in -place surfacing needed for the adventure park for a total maximum
20 amount of $80,876.35.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
22 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
23 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
24 in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not
25 originally a part of the resolution.
26 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
27 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
28 inconsistency.
