AN ORDINANCE VACATING, CLOSING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAYS
SITUATED WITHIN AND ADJACENT TO BLOCK 79, FRACTIONAL
BLOCK 80, AND BLOCK 81, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock has determined that
portions of certain streets, alleys and public rights of ways situated within and
adjacent to Block 79, Fractional Block 80, and Block 81, original City of Little Rock,
are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were originally platted, dedi-
cated or devoted and therefore, desires to vacate, close and abandon all its rights,
title and interest therein, together with that of the general public, pursuant to the
power granted cities of the first class by Section 19 -2304, Arkansas Statutes 1947,
annotated.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Pursuant to authority of Section 19 -2304, Arkansas Statutes 1947,
annotated, the City of Little Rock hereby vacates, closes and abandons all its right,
title and interest, together with that of the general public, in and to the following
described streets, alleys and public rights of ways:
a) The East /West Alley situated in Block 79, Original City of
Little Rock, together with all other public rights of ways
traversing said Block 79, serving as collectors for vehicular
traffic off LaHarpe Boulevard and Main Street onto Louisiana
Street and Markham Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
b) That portion of Louisiana Street between Block 79 and Fractional
Block 80, Original.City of Little Rock;
c) The East 12 inches of the right of way of Ashley Street between
Markham Street and LaHarpe Boulevard in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas;
d) T_:at portion of LaHarpe Boulevard right of way that was formerly
the North three (3') feet of Block 71� and Fractional Block 80,
Original City of Little Rock;
e) The North /South Alley platted in Block 81, Original City of
Little Rock;
f) The East /West Alley platted in Fractional Block 80, Original
City of Little Rock,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located therein.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be
filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas and recorded in the
Deed Records of the County.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
