3 A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 18, 2005, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO FORM THE CITY OF LITTLE
5 ROCK MUNICIPAL PROPERTY OWNERS' MULTIPURPOSE
6 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 24 (VILLA VISTA PROJECT);
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, on September 29, 2005, a Petition was duly filed with the City Clerk
10 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the Little Rock Board of Directors to approve the
11 formation of the City of Little Rock Municipal Property Owners' Multipurpose
12 Improvement District No. 24 (Villa Vista Project), pursuant to Ark. Code. Ann. § 14 -94-
13 101, et seq., and
14 WHEREAS, an Abstractor's Certificate has been presented that certifies that a
15 majority in value of the owners of the property in the District have executed the
16 Petition, and
17 WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -88 -203 requires that a hearing be held on the
18 formation of such district.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at a meeting of the Board
22 of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on
23 the 18th day of October, 2005.
24 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
25 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
26 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
27 in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
