N ORDINANCE To AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. ORDINANCE
NO. 1 011 (DECEMBER 16, 2003){ To ADJUST THE FISCAL YEAR
2004 BUDGET ORDINANCE CE TO NOTE I EVE UE r AND OTHER
ADJUSTMENTS; To DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, S, t . i roved a comprehensive budget for the City of Kittle
Rock Arkansas, in Little Rock, .Ark.., Ordinance No. 19,011 ( 16, 2003), as
amended by Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 19,086 (April 20,r 2004), and
WHEREAS, S it is appropriate to adjust the ordinance to reflect operational
11 chars i the General, Street, Solid. Waste, Parking ara e, and Zoo Funds, and where
12 necessary to authorize the increase in the fiscal year 2004 line items for these and other
13 matters, and
14 WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Finance & Treasurer, in
15 compliance with City budget and financial reporting policies, have reviewed th se
16 adjustments and recommend them to the Board of Directors for approval,
17 STOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED B THE BOARD of DIRECTORS
18 of THE CITY of LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. General .fund. Section, 4 of Little Rock, Ark., ordinance No. 19,011
20 (December 1 , 2003), as amended by Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 19,086 (April 20,
1 2004), is .er r amended so the General Fund amount will increase by two hundred

hundred and eleven million five hundred fifty - three thousand three hundred and
eighty-four dollars (111,553,384.00).
Section. 2. Street Fund. Section 4 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 19,011
(December 16, 2003), as amended Little Koch, Ark., Ordinance No. 19,086 (.April 20,

amended so the. Street Fund amount will increase by one hundred
r thousand dollars ($194,000), to reflect additions in operating budgets, to the
amount of fourteen million twenty-one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six dollars
($141021,r876-00).
Section 3. Parking Garage Fund. Section 4 of Little Dock, Ark., Ordinance No.
19,011 (December 16, 2003), as amended by Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 19,086
(April 20, 2004), is hereby amended so the Parking Garage Fund amount will increase
8 by one million four hundred fifty -two thousand tree hundred and seventy-seven
dollars ($1,452,377), to reflect additions in operating budgets, to the amount of one
10 million four hundred fifty-two thousand wee hundred and seventy-seven dollars
11 ($1.1452,377).
12 Section 4. Records. The Director of Finance & Treasurer is directed to
13 maintain appropriate records which r ide greater detail for the adjustments set fort.

16 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
17 clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
18 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
19 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion s
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not oneginally a part of the
1 ordinance.

3 inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
