URBAN DEVELOPMENT;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has access to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME, and
ADDI funds on an annual basis, and
WHEREAS, the use of these monies mandates that an action plan be submitted to the U.S.
Department of Housing Et Urban Development by November 15, 2007, in accordance with Title I of the
Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, and
WHEREAS, after extensive public discussion and citizen participation, including neighborhood
meetings, and a public hearing, a plan has been developed for submission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 2008 Action Plan for the use of CDBG,
HOME and ADDI Entitlement Funds to the U.S. Department of Housing Et Urban Development, by
November 15, 2007, in accordance with the provisions of the Cranston - Gonzalez National Affordable
Housing Act of 1990.
Section 2. The projected uses of these funds were approved by adoption of Little Rock, Ark.
Resolution No. 12,565 - X (September 4, 2007).
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
