A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING
COMMISSION'S ACTION IN APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
TO ALLOW A DAY CARE FAMILY HOME ON THE R -2 ZONED
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6724 CAROLINA DRIVE (Z- 8225).
WHEREAS, an application was filed by Myia Hubbard with the Little Rock Planning
Commission for a special use permit to allow for a day care family home on the R -2 zoned property
located at 6724 Carolina Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its July 19, 2007 meeting, approved
the Special Use Permit application with a vote of 6 ayes, 3 nays, 1 absent and I open position; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined that action to be
inappropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The action of the City of Little Rock Planning Commission in approving a
special use permit to allow a day care family home on the R -2 zoned property located at 6724
Carolina Drive is hereby rescinded.
SECTION 2. Said Special Use Permit is hereby denied.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
