12588I RESOLUTION NO. 12,588 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A 4 CONTRACT WITH GLOVER'S TRUCK PARTS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE 5 PURCHASE OF ONE (1) ROLL -OFF TRUCK FOR PUBLIC WORKS SOLID WASTE 6 SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 WHEREAS, the Public Works Solid Waste Services is in need of a roll -off truck to replace an older model with high maintenance costs, and WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of one (1) roll -off truck and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from Glover's Truck Parts and Equipment in the amount of One Hundred Sixteen Thousand, One Hundred Sixty -six Dollars ($116,166.00); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Glover's Truck Parts and Equipment for the purchase of one (1) roll -off truck for Public Works Solid Waste Services for the amount of One Hundred Sixteen Thousand, One Hundred Sixty -six Dollars ($116,166.00). Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from the Public Works Solid Waste Services Account 603110-72300. Section 3. Severability. in the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shalt remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repeated to the extent of such inconsistency.
