A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE APPOINTMENT OF
CAROLYN POLITE TO SERVE AS THE RESIDENT
COMMISSIONER TO THE LITTLE ROCK HOUSING
AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DRIECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Carolyn Polite is hereby appointed as a member to the Little
Rock Housing Authority Board of Commissioners as the Resident Commissioner,
replacing Wilma Swinney, said term expiring October 1, 2009.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.

CERTIFICATE OF APPOINTMENT
We, Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock Arkansas, by
virtue of the authority vested in us by the Act to Provide a Method of Filing Vacancies on
Municipal Housing Authority Boards, Act 77 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1943,
do hereby appoint Carolyn Polite to serve the remaining term of Wilma Swinney as
Resident Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for a
term to expire October 1, 2010.
IN WITHNESS WHEREOF, we have hereunto signed our name as Commissioners
of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and cause the official
Corporate Seal of Authority of Little Rock, Arkansas to be attached hereto this 2"d day of

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS HELD
ON THE 29" DAY OF AUGUST, 2007
The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas met in Regular Session at the Administration Offices, 1000 Wolfe Street, Little
Rock, Arkansas at 12:00 p.m. on August 29, 2007.
The Chairperson called the Regular Session to order and upon roll call the
following Commissioners answered present:
Commissioners present: Gray, Sheffield, Walker, and Nishimura
The Chairperson thereupon declared a quorum present and the regular meeting
called to order.
Commissioner Walker introduced the following Resolution and moved for its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO: #6341
APPOINTMENT OF CAROLYN POLITE TO SERVE THE REMAINING TERM
OF WILMA SWINNEY AS RESIDENT COMMISSIONER
Commissioner Sheffield seconded the Motion. The following vote was recorded as
follows: "Ayes " - Commissioner Gray, Sheffield, Walker, and Nishimura / "Nays " -
None. The Chairperson thereupon declared the motion carried and the Resolution
adopted.
There being no further business to properly come before the Board, the meeting
was adjourned.
