3 AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON A PORTION OF EAST 22ND STREET AND
4 FRAZIER PIKE, LOCATED NORTH AND EAST OF BOND STREET, INCLUDING
5 THE ABANDONMENT OF UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS, IN THE CITY
6 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AS PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.
9 WHEREAS, a request was made to vacate and abandon a portion of East 22nd Street and Frazier
10 Pike, including the abandonment of utility and drainage easements, as public right -of -way, pursuant to
11 the City's general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. S 14 -54 -104; and
12 WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this public right -of -way will not
13 have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local traffic, and therefore, the right -
14 of -way abandoned by this ordinance is no longer needed for corporate purposes;
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE

Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons that portion of East
22nd Street and Frazier Pike, located North and East of Bond Street, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
including the abandonment of utility and drainage easements.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the real
estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional was
not originally a part of the ordinance.
Section 4. Repeater. All taws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
