RESOLUTION NO. 12,519
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH NORTH POINT FORD FOR THE PURCHASE OF THIRTY -FIVE
(35) PURSUIT RATED POLICE CARS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Police Department is in need of thirty -five (35) Pursuit Rated Police
Cars, and
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received bids for the purchase of the thirty -five (35) Pursuit
Rated Police Cars and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from North Point Ford in
the amount of Nine Hundred Ninety -four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($994,350.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
North Point Ford for the purchase of thirty -five (35) Pursuit Rated Police Cars for the amount of Nine
Hundred Ninety -four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($994,350.00).
Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated from 2007 Short Term Financing Funds.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
