Whereas, the City desires to designate zoning districts
within the subject property and make the City's
comprehensive zoning regulations applicable thereto; and
Whereas, the City desires to prevent the development of
non - residential uses (in conflict with the land use plans)
in residential areas prior to the adoption of the revised
land use plan and zoning package; and
Whereas, the City will bring a package of non - Single
Family rezonings for consideration by the Board of Directors
in conformance with the land use plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1: That the Master Plan set forth in Little
Rock, Arkansas, Ordinance No. 15,147 be amended to reflect
that the zoning classification of the subject property be
and is hereby established as 11R -211, Single Family
Residential District.
A tract of land located in PULASKI County, Arkansas and

THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
Whereas, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (hereafter
referred to as the "City ") desires to designate and specify
land use zones or districts in the area located south of
Denny and Kanis Roads, west of the City corporate limits,
all of which is outside of the City limits (hereafter
referred to as the "subject property "); and
Whereas, the City has the authority pursuant to state

Section 32 T -1 -N, R -13 -W; and the NW 1/4 and N 1/2 of
the SW 1/4 of Section 4 T -1 -N, R -14 -W; and Section 14
except the SW 1/4 T -1 -N, R -14 -W; and the E 1/2 of
NE 1%4 and E 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 23 T -1 -N, R -14 -W;
and Section 26 except W 1/2 of NW 1/4 T -1 -N, R -14 -W;
and E 1/2 of SE 1/4 Section 27 T -1 -N, R -14 -W; and E 1/2
of NE 1/4 and E 1/2 of SE 1/4 of Section 34 T -1 -N;
R -14 -W; and all of Sections 35 and 36 T -2 -N, R -14 -W no
currently within the City's corporate limits. (Z =5500)
S@Ction 2: The City's comprehensive zoning regulations
presently in effect or hereafter amended are hereby made
applicable to the subject property.
Section 3: That all laws and parts of laws in conflict
herewith are repealed, but only to the extent of any such
conflict.
Section 4: The Board of Directors will review this
zoning classification and will consider amendments to this
Classification and the Master Plan as may be deemed
appropriate, no later than December 17, 1991.

activities experienced at various locations within the area,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and in order to
a. reserve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of
