124921 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 RESOLUTION NO. 12,492 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE HOUSTON - GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL COOPERATIVE PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) TRIPLE COMBINATION FIRE PUMPER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Fire Department is in need of one (1) Triple Combination Fire Pumper to replace one (1) front line Fire Pumper that is over twenty years old, and WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has contracted with the Houston - Galveston Area Council Cooperative Purchase Agreement for the purchase of the fire pumper and the lowest responsible and responsive bid item on the contract would be in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty -two Thousand, Two Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($262,216.00). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract, through the Houston - Galveston Area Council Cooperative Purchase Agreement, for the purchase of one (1) Triple Combination Fire Pumper, in the amount of Two Hundred Sixty -two Thousand, Two Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($262,216.00). Section 2. Funds for this purchase are to be allocated through 2007 Short Term Financing. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
