3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MORGAN KEEGAN AS BOND UNDERWRITER FOR THE
4 PROPOSED ISSUANCE OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
5 REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS, SERIES 2007; (THE BONDS); AND PROVIDING FOR
6 OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS.

8 WHEREAS, it is necessary to have bond underwriters provide the best financial terms for the
9 issuance and sale of the Capital Improvement Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2007; and
10 WHEREAS, the City requested proposals from qualified firms to handle this work; and
11 WHEREAS, the proposals received were reviewed and evaluated by a professional services selection
12 committee designated in accordance with City ordinance; and
13 WHEREAS, the committee has concluded that the firm of Morgan Keegan is the most qualified and
14 has the knowledge and experience with similar financings in Arkansas and nationally as an underwriter.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
16 ARKANSAS:
17 SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the firm of
18 Morgan Keegan to act as underwriter for the Little Rock, Arkansas Capital Improvement Revenue Refunding
19 Bonds, Series 2007 bond issue.
