ORDINANCE NO. 19,050 Fees $14.00
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DYKE ANNEXATION,
ADDING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition for voluntary annexation (the "Petition ") was filed with
the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas on July 21, 2003 by the owner of
hereinafter designated lands praying that said lands be annexed to and made part of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on August 28, 2003, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas
found that the Petition was signed by a majority of the total number of the real property
owners of the area to be annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage
of said area; and,
WHEREAS, said lands are contiguous to and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, an accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of
said Petition; and,
WHEREAS, proper notice has been given for the time and in the manner
prescribed by law; and,
WHEREAS, all things pertaining thereto have been done in the manner
prescribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made part of the City of
Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation
made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said
order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following described territory contiguous and adjoining the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and the same hereby is accepted as annexes t9 and�ttgde
a part of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to wit: ,0°��G '

ANNEXATION OF DYKE PROPERTY
The east eight (8) acres of the SE '/4 of the SW '/4, Section 29, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the SE
corner of said SE' /4 of the SW '/4 of Section 29, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence
West along the South line of said SE %4 of the SW '/4266 feet; thence
North parallel to the East line of said SE' /4 of the SW '/4 1,310.3 feet,
more or less, to the North line of said SE '/4 of the SW '/4; thence East
along said North line 266 feet to the NE comer of said SE '/4 of the SW %4;
thence South along the East line of said SE' /4 of the SW '/4 for 1,309.80
feet to the Point of Beginning.
AND
Property known and described as: The West % of the NE '/4, the SE %4 of
the NW '/4, the NE '/4 of the SW 1/4, and the SE' /4 of Section 29 and the
NE' /4 of the NE' /4 of Section 32, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. Repealer. All laws, ordinances and regulations and parts thereof in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SECTION 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this ordinance is declared
or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration and adjudication shall not
affect the remaining portions of the ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect
as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally
apart of this ordinance.
