AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION
OF THE ALLEY LOCATED IN BLOCK 7 OF PFEIFER'S
ADDITION, NORTH OF WEST MARKHAM AND SOUTH OF
"A" STREET, AS A PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY, IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Whereas, a request was made by S & B Corporation, the owner of the property,
herein, to abandon the right -of -way described below pursuant to its general police
power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of a portion of the alley
located in Block 7 of Pfeifer's Addition, North of West Markham and South of "A"
14 Street, as part of a planned development, will not have an adverse impact on the
15 adjacent property owners nor the public welfare and safety, and therefore, the„ porfti'tm

19 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abanU0 ."Jgjg
21 alley and right -of -way of the City of Little Rock, less and except the reserved public
22 utility easements, together with the right of public in general, in and to the portion of
23 the alley located in Block 7 of Pfeifer's Addition, North of West Markham and South of
24 "A" Street, in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
25 Section 2. The City specifically reserves a public utility and drainage easement
26 within the former street and alley right -of -way.
