13 Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104;
14 Whereas, the Board has determined that the abandoning of this portion of the
15 undeveloped West 35th Street right -of -way located between Blocks 169 and 170
16 (between Barrow Road and Ludwig Street), and the South 96 feet of the undeveloped
17 alley right -of -way located within Block 170, John Barrow Addition, as part of a planned
18 development will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the
19 public welfare and safety, and therefore, the right -of -way abandoned by this ordinance
20 is no longer needed for corporate purposes except as otherwise noted below.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
22 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons the
24 right -of -way of the City of Little Rock, less and except the reserved public utility
25 easements, together with the right of public in general, in and to that portion of the
26 undeveloped West 35th Street right -of -way located between Blocks 169 and 170, John

1 Barrow Addition (between Barrow Road and Ludwig Street) and the South 96 feet of
2 the undeveloped alley right -of -way located within Block 170, John Barrow Addition, in
3 the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
4 Section 2. The City specifically reserves a public utility and drainage easement
5 within the former street and alley right -of -way.
6 Section 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be
7 filed in the real estate records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder
8 of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
