PROPERTY OWNERS' IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 16; LITTLE
ROCK, ARK., ORDINANCE NO. 18,712 (JULY 2, 2002) TO REFLECT THE
APPROPRIATE NUMBER FOR STAGECOACH VILLAGE MUNICIPAL
MULTI - PURPOSE PROPERTY OWNERS' IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 17; TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
14 WHEREAS, after proper notice and public hearings the City has created certain
15 improvement districts over the last year, but have assigned incorrect numbers to these districts,
16 and
17 WHEREAS, the City Clerk has now coordinated the appropriate numbers for these
18 districts with the Pulaski County Treasurer's Office, and
19 WHEREAS, the City wishes to make this appropriate amendment to reflect the property
20 number for these districts,
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
22 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. The title and Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 18,677 (April
16, 2002), is hereby amended to note that the proper name of the improvement district is as
follows: Kanis Municipal Improvement District No. 15.
Section 2. The title and Section 3 of Little Rock, A
2002) is hereby amended to note that the proper name of the
Otter Creek PropertyOwners' Improvement District No. 16.

1 Section 3. The title and Section 1 of Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 18,712 (July 2,
2 2002) is hereby amended to note that the proper name of the improvement district is as follows:
3 Stagecoach Village Municipal Multi- Purpose Property Owners' Improvement District No. 17.
4 Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this ordinance, and to
5 forward certified copies of this ordinance to the board of commissioners for each of the
6 improvement districts named above.
7 Section 5. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
8 clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
9 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the
10 ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
11 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance.
12 Section 6. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with
13 this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
14 Section 7. Emergency. The correct identification and numbering of an improvement
15 district is essential to assure that assessments are paid to the proper fund to retire any debt service, and to
16 assure that any legal actions that may be necessary are properly pursued, further, the use of improvement
17 districts to finance and construct certain improvements within the City are essential to protect the public
18 health, safety and welfare, an emergency is, therefore, declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
19 force and effect after the date of its passage.
