AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT IN LOT 2 R,
UNIVERSITY AND H STREETS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas on the 23`d Day of August, 2002 asking the Board of Directors to vacate all that
portion of the public utility easement to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, now appearing of
record in Plat Book e, Page 379 in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board has, at the time and place
mentioned in the notice heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and ahs ascertained
that the easement or portion thereof, hereinbefore described, ahs heretofore been dedicated to the
public use as a utility easement herein described; has not been actually used by the public
generally for a period of five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all owners of the
property abutting upon the portion of the utility easement to be vacated have filed with he Board,
their written consent to this action; and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the vacating of the utility easement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, releases, vacates and abandons all its
rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the utility easement designated in
Exhibit A. (Attached)
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in
the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage
and approval.

10' Utility Easement Abandonment Description
A 10 foot Utility Easement as shown on the Plat of Lot 2R, being a Replat of Lot 2, University
and H Street Addition (Plat E -379) to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said Lot 2R, University and H Street Addition; thence
North 890 54'55" West along the South line of said Lot 2R a distance of 10.00 feet; thence
North 00100'46" West 194.14 feet to a point on the North line of said Lot 2R; thence along
said North line South 89° 21' 49" East 10.00 feet to the Northeast corner of Said Lot 2R;
thence South 000 00'46" East along the East line of said Lot 2R a distance of 194.04 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 1941 square feet, or 0.045 acres, more or less.
