REVOKING WESTSIDE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SHORT -
FORM POD (Z- 2559 -B) AND REPEALING ORDINANCE
NO. 17,506, REVOKING CCDC WESTSIDE SCHOOL
REVISED POD (Z- 2559 -C) AND APPROVING A
PLANNED ZONING DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A
PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TITLED WESTSIDE
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL SHORT -FORM PRD (Z- 2559 -D)
LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE 1300 BLOCK OF
MARSHALL STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 17,117 was passed February 20, 1996
establishing a Planned Office Development for Westside Junior
High School (Z- 2559 -B); and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 17,506 was passed June 17, 1997
establishing a Revised Planned Office Development District for
CCDC Westside School (Z- 2559 -C); and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested
that the "PZD" ordinances be repealed and that the new zoning
classification be PRD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinances No. 17,117 and No. 17,506
is hereby repealed, removing from the official zoning map the
classification POD - Planned Office Development District titled
CCDC Westside School Short -form POD located on the west side of
the 1300 Block of Marshall Street.
SECTION 2. That the zoning classification of the
following described property be changed from POD to PRD:
Block 10 Centennial Addition to the City of Little
Rock. Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. That the preliminary site development'.plam[plat
be approved as recommended by the Little .Rocks! Planning°
Commission.

SECTION 4. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for Westside Junior High School Short -form PRD is
conditioned upon obtaining a final plan approval within the time
specified by Chapter 36, Article VII, Section 36 -454 (e) of the
Code of Ordinances.
SECTIONS. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the extent
and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change
provided for in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 6. That this Ordinance shall not take effect and be
in full force until the final approval of the plan.
SECTION 7. Severability. In the event any title, section,
paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this
ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain
in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of
the ordinance.
SECTION S. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or
parts of the same that are inconsistent with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
