The penalty for violation of this provision shall be thirty dollars ($30.00)
for each consecutive period of time the motor vehicle is parked in the

part of the ordinance.
Section 6. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent
with this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 7. Emergency. The ability to properly control on street parking within
the various areas of the City, and to assure that any off - street parking in restricted areas is
properly controlled, is essential to maintain the public health, safety and welfare; however,
is because it is sometimes cheaper to simply use such public parking as a private parking lot,
and because it is costly to provide the operation, maintenance, inspection and enforcement
provisions of the City code, the current fee structure does not help to assure that this
important public need is met; an emergency is, therefore, declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect on January 1, 2002.
