ORDINANCE NO. 18,509
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL
OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO WEST
LOOP /OUTERLOOP AND LAWSON ROAD FOR THE
CRYSTAL HILL BAPTIST CHURCH LOCATED AT
18824 CRYSTAL VALLEY ROAD (Z- 6053).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a
deferral of certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan of the City
of Little Rock for the Crystal Hill Baptist Church located at 18824 Crystal Valley Road, as follows:
Subsection a. That Chapter 31 be deferred for the purpose of complying with conditions
pursuant to a conditional use permit issued by the Little Rock Planning Commission allowing
for the construction of a church gymnasium to be located at 18824 Crystal Valley Road
(Z- 6053).
Subsection b. The specific improvements to be deferred are curb, gutter, sidewalk, and full
principal arterial street improvements along the proposed westloop /outerloop for a distance of
680 feet within the Crystal Hill Baptist Church site and curb, gutter, sidewalk, and one -half of
minor arterial street improvements along the south side of Lawson Road for a distance of 50
feet adjacent to the Crystal Hill Baptist Church site.
Subsection c. The required improvements are to be deferred for a period not to exceed five
(5) years or until next phase of development or reclassification of property to a more intense
classification, whichever comes first.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
