AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF MASTER
STREET PLAN STREET IMPROVEMENTS FOR JAY SMITH
ADDITION REPLAT, LOCATED NORTH OF CANTRELL
ROAD AND EAST OF KEIGTHLY DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a deferral
of certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan for the City of Little
Rock for Jay Smith Addition Replat, as follows:
Subsection a. That Section 31 -282 requiring abutting street to be constructed in
accordance with Master Street Plan be deferred. Specific deferral is for principal
arterial street improvements including sidewalk for Cantrell Road for 5 years or
redevelopment of Lot 3R, whichever occurs first. The term "redevelopment" for
purposes of this Ordinance shall mean the intentional demolition of the existing
improvements rather than merely remodeling the existing improvements.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
