AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $254,954 TO
PAY THE ARKANSAS HIGHWAY AND
TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT AS LITTLE
ROCK'S SHARE OF FINAL ESTIMATE ON
UNIVERISTY /CHICOT CONNECTION PROJECT.
After completion of the federally funded University /Chicot connection project,
WHEREAS, the final Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) estimate
determined an additional $272,961 City contribution is required; and
WHEREAS, the current balance of University /Chicot Special Projects Account is $27,007
leaving a $245,954 balance due; and
WHEREAS, excess funds are available from two completed projects: Roosevelt Road
Bridge, $175,000, and Cloverdale Drainage, $70,954, totalling $245,954.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The balance of $245,954 is appropriated to pay Arkansas Highway and
Transportation Department (AHTD) for the City of Little Rock's contribution to the completed
University /Chicot Connection project; the money as follows:
$175,000 Roosevelt Road Bridge Removal Project
$ 70,954 Cloverdale Drainage Project
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
